Well Cleaning
Is your well running out of water or not
producing the flow it used to. It could be plugged with mineral
encrustation. Let us clean your well with Dry Penetrating Agent
(DPA). DPA is a granular product and is certified by NSF International.
It is certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 60, Drinking Water Treatment
Chemicals - Health Effects.
- DPA is safe to handle dry penetrating
agent that produces a strong acid that dissolves carbonates and
hydroxides of calcium, iron and manganese on the well casing,
screen, gravel pack, pumps, etc.
- DPA in dry form will not emit fumes and
will not irritate the skin. It is safer to handle than hydrochloric
or muriatic acid.
- DPA, upon dissolution in water, penetrates
mineral encrustations, converting them to soluble salts which
are easily pumped to waste.
- DPA increased yield in sandstone and limestone
formations of highly-calcareous sand a gravel.
- DPA is much less corrosive on well materials
(screen, pumps) than traditional chemicals such as hydrochloric
acid.
- DPA suspends and disperses bentonite and
native clay efficiently.
One of the tools
we use when cleaning a well is a camera. We can insert and operate
this camera in most wells with the pump still in them. We can
go past the pump to see where your water is coming in at to determine
the best method to recover lost water.
